Tamaraw Beach, Puerto Galera – Ideal Beach For Families

We just came back from a short summer trip where we discovered a great beach for families. The resort is called Tamaraw Beach Resort and it can be found in the Puerto Galera, off the coast of Batangas in the Philippines. Puerto Galera used to be the destination for many beach lovers until it became overcrowded. That is why we were pleasantly surprised with what awaited us at Tamaraw Beach.
Their accommodations have been designed to suit family needs – the rooms are huge and can fit up to 6 people (at least our room did). Several more days and we’ll be on our way to the beach! While waiting for that, let’s take a look at a few more beach safety tips.
Make sure that you stick to the designated swimming areas
Not all parts of beaches are safe for swimming. It would help if you chose a beach where majority of the area is safe for swimming. If you take the family to a beach where there are designated swimming areas, make sure that you emphasize the importance of staying at these areas. Taking it a step further, it would be best to keep a close eye on the children. Though they may be obedient and intend to follow your instructions, sometimes curiosity or playfulness might just get the best of them.

Though it is far from summer yet, some families are already heading off to beaches in the tropical parts of the world. At any time of the year, there is always somewhere to go if your family gets a hankering for the beach. In less than a week, actually, we are going to hit the beach for several days of R & R.
