Shopping in Sydney: Where to Shop

Since we now know WHAT to shop for in Sydney now let me point you to the places WHERE you can shop. All over Sydney you will find shopping havens some with exotics stuff to offer some with more mainstream goods and many with a huger variety of products.
Starting at the city centre, Sydney will already capture the shopaholics heart with so many places to spend your money on. Anyone who wanders around the city centre is warned to leave their credit cards at the hotel safety deposit box because you wouldn’t be surprised if you max it out with a single whirlwind visit to the World Square Shopping Centre (offers everything from homeware to fresh food and so much more with 90 specialty stores), the Martin Place (which is not just a place to shop but a landmark where you can find the GPO Shopping centre, MLC and more), and of course The Strand (hot hot fashion).
Towards the west of Sydney you will find that shopping can also really be fun if you want to look for bargain prices. There you will find more exotic items in unexpected places. A highlight for those who love everything Italian though would be a visit to Leichardt, Sydney’s little Italy, to eat great food and buy some fine Italian wine.
The east is also not left behind with great places to shop for art and antiques. A must place to stop by would be the Sydney Antique Centre and the numerous art galleries found along and near Queen and Oxford Streets.
Of course there isn’t even a need to mention all the shopping you can do at “The Rocks”, where you will find geverything from fashion to jewellery. Toss in the markets held all over Sydney and any shopaholic will find that the whole of Sydney is where you can shop.
