Posted by Camica as Destinations, Education, Family, People, Tips, Transport
Going on trips with my kids are always a huge production, especially if it lasts more than a weekend. My husband jokes that we should buy a motor home, since we end up bringing half the house with us. Most parents would understand, oftentimes, the baggage allowance for my kids is a ratio of 2:1; 2 bags per kid compared to the adults. Since we practically spend every weekend visiting grandparents, and insist on vacationing with the kids every time, we had to learn to trim our baggage to the essentials. For the harassed mom or dad, we’d like to share some tips and tricks we’ve learned, along with our must-bring items.
If you’re traveling with an …

However, we all want to go home with silent smiles and a sense of incomparable fulfillment as if we had just cracked the greatest mystery in the history of humankind. Well, thanks to the erupting trend of theme tours and travel, having such an experience is possible.
I am a huge Dan Brown fan. Perhaps it’s because he appeals to the conspiracy theorist in me. Along with millions, I enjoyed every chapter of The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons immensely. For those who wish to relive the whole thrill and excitement of the …

Posted by Jen as Eco-Friendly, Education, Features, Nature, Travelogger, United States
Did you know that in the United States alone, there are 496 species of endangered animals listed? And that worldwide, there are about a thousand more animals whose lives are in danger? These are not just numbers, mind you. These are issues that affect every living being on this planet, whether we are conscious of it or not. Perhaps one of the main causes for the endangerment of these animals is habitat destruction. Over the decades, man has been a little less considerate when it comes to expanding and construction. Making Travel Plans Online, Part 1
Posted by Camica as Air Travel, Education, Family, Reviews, Shopping, Tips, Transport, Travelogger, Website
As an online travel agent, I know firsthand how a lot of people have switched from booking with traditional travel agencies, to making their travel plans online with a travel website. Understandable, since there are a lot of advantages to booking online.
First, and probably the most important consideration, is the price. Airline & cruise tickets, hotel & car rates, and even some local activities & services are usually cheaper online than thru your regular travel agent. That’s because online travel agencies usually get special rates due to the large volume of travelers who use their site. They also have a lower ratio of travel agents to customers, since most customers usually book on …

Countries have different types of cultures and beliefs hence it would be best to make preliminary studies beforehand so that they can be able to identify the things they can and cannot do once they land on the foreign native soil.
The difference in cultures is indeed amazing. The simple things may end up being a big thing for people. Like in Taiwan, it is a sign of disrespect to fork your chopsticks against your food since it is a sign of death. When passing by a mourning …
