Ideas For Easter Vacation

Easter Basket
It’s almost here! Easter is always a good time for kids and can be a good excuse to take the whole family on vacation. Though some families may prefer to stay at home during this period, why not consider going on a vacation this time around? Here are some great ideas for a fun-filled Easter vacation.

New York City’s Easter Parade
To be held on the 23rd of March, this parade is perfect for the whole family. It is going to be held on 5th Avenue but do not expect floats or marching bands – just admire the astounding array of people in Easter bonnets and costumed pets. Oh, you could come with your own bonnets as well.

New York Easter Egg Hunt Extravaganza
What is Easter with an egg hunt? Go to Central Park on the Saturday before Easter (probably from around 11 in the morning till mid afternoon) and join the fun – everything’s free! Aside from the egg hunt, you and your children can engage in other activities such as an egg roll race, Build Your Own Basket, play with bunnies, face painting, and more.

Easter Sunday Services
Easter is being celebrated for a reason. We may all love the bunnies but the essence of Easter is something deeper than that. If you are inclined to do so, why not take your family to an Easter Sunday Service at a church that you prefer? It would certainly be at least an experience for everyone.
