For many children, Santa is a permanent fixture associated with Christmas. What better way to surprise and delight your family than a visit to see Santa at the North Pole? I am not talking about the “real” North Pole here – the trip may be beyond many families’ resources. However, there is a North Pole which is more accessible – North Pole, NY.

Around 12 miles from Lake Placid in the Adirondacks, you can find North Pole. Here, people take Santa seriously. For the most part of November and December, you can take your family to visit and enjoy everything about Santa. Usually, at this time of the year, you can find weekend packages that will suit your budget.

The activities offered in North Pole are actually available all year round but the serious fun hits its peak at this time of the year. Enjoy yourselves as you visit Santa’s village and engage in various activities such as:

-shopping
-visiting farm animals
-watching candy makers at work
-watching glass blowers do their stuff
-watching musical shows
-watching puppet shows
-viewing the Nativity pageant
-and more!

During the weekend, there are special events such as:
-Trim the Tree Party
-‘Twas the Night Before Christmas
-Magic shows
-Carolling
-and of course, a visit from the Big Man himself!

So head on over to North Pole and see Santa for yourselves!
