The Town That Chocolate Built

October 9, 2007 By Camica

For chocoholics like me, the town of Hershey’s is a Mecca for chocolate lovers.
And this coming Halloween should give you the perfect excuse to visit the town that was built by chocolate. Hershey’s town is more than just a chocolate factory, it’s already a resort destination filled with great family entertainment. It has a world-class theme park,
HERSHEYPARK, that’s home to over 60 rides and attractions. For daddies, there’s the Hershey Country Club with 36 holes of golf, and a chocolate spa for mom. Kids will go wild at ZOOAMERICA, and experience nature at the botanical garden. There’s also Historic Trolley Tours and the Hershey Museum, where the family can learn all the stories and the history behind Hershey’s and chocolates. And be sure to watch a few shows at the Hershey Theatre.

Of course, the ultimate attraction is HERSHEY’S CHOCOLATE WORLD, the chocolate lover’s Utopia. Here, you can learn the process of making chocolate and even create your own chocolate. You can even put your picture in a bar wrapper. And don’t forget to watch Hershey’s characters on the big screen in HERSHEY’S REALLY BIG 3D SHOW . If you’re lucky enough to be able to stay more than one day, you’ll have the Hotel Hershey, the Hershey Lodge or Hershey’s Highmeadow Campground to stay in.

This Halloween, experience HERSHEYPARK IN THE DARK. Kids 12 and under get to go Trick or Treating at HERSHEY’S CHOCOLATE WORLD, then experience the rides, entertainment, foods, and spellbinding storytelling at the HERSHEYPARK. Just be sure to give yourself a license to indulge in all those great chocolates, or you’ll be declared certifiably insane! Have fun!
