It’s in the company you keep
Sometimes, it does not really matter where you go or what you do. The perfect family vacation could very well depend on the company you keep. Of course, it is a given that you go on a vacation with members of your immediate family. What I am talking about is going on a vacation with other people whom you might want to be with. This could be people from your extended family or even close family friends. Our recent trip over the New Year was actually spent with some close friends of ours. It was one of the best times of our lives and it made as closer as friends as well.
Leave your car behind
If you are the family that spends a whole lot of time driving around everyday, then you might want to discount a road trip for a vacation. Riding in a car all the time can make you feel cramped and restricted. Why not consider an alternative vacation? Take a plane to somewhere where you would need to walk more than ride a vehicle. Take a cruise or go on a short boat ride to an island. You have many alternatives when it comes to this – just take the car out of the equation.
These are only some of the secrets to wonderful family vacations. I am sure that your family has its own secrets. Why not share them with the rest of us?
