Can’t get enough of the marine life? Then you should probably pay Bangkok, Thailand a visit! The Siam Ocean World has successfully bridged the gap between all things land and water. Guests now can have a more in-depth interaction with their favorite sea creatures. As the largest aquarium in the country, the Siam Ocean World has divided their attractions into seven, different categories.

The Weird and the Wonderful pays homage to sea creatures that have quite original characteristics such as the Pharaoh Cuttlefish that look like jet-propelled squids and Horseshoe Crabs that are said to have existed way before mankind.

The Deep Reef displays an abundance of colors and variety of reef dwellers. Here, you will get to see more than a lifetime’s worth of marine life!

For those who want to get a more realistic feel of the sea world, then the Living Ocean is your stop. Prey or predator… let the rules of survival decide!

A more complicated version of this would be the Rainforest. Here, sea creatures have to learn to co-exist with land creatures.

The Rocky Shore gives life to sea creatures who have learned, throughout the years of evolution, to survive on the thin line between land and sea.

For a more challenging route, drop by the Open Ocean where you will be witness to sharks and schools of fish drinking and inhabiting the same water.

Sea Jellies, as all of you might guess, if dedicated to one of the most widespread species on Earth. It also houses the world’s most dangerous and brainless animals. The Box Jelly.

Aside from these seven divisions, the Siam Ocean World also offers a huge variety of activities. If you find yourself having a soft spot for Penguins, then you would surely enjoy the Penguin Feed at the Rocky Shore zone. And if you’re one of those adventurous scuba divers, then the answer to your thrill-seeking adventure lies in the Diving with Sharks program with Planet Scuba. For an uninterrupted view of the marine paradise comes the Glass Bottom Boat.

Located on B1 and B2 of the Siam Paragon Shopping complex, the Siam Ocean World is one dive you must not miss!
