Luxury Travel: Bucket List Targets

Not everyone is going to have a chance to do luxury travel regularly. But that doesn’t mean that it’s not worth putting certain high-class journeys on your bucket list. Even if you never necessarily make it to do some of those things, at least having a daydream about how enjoyable it would be can get you through otherwise dull days.

Think about luxury journeys like getting on a yacht in Miami, or staying at a hotel in Disney World. Perhaps you’d like to go on a ski resort adventure sometime or take a private jet to some island location. Forbes Luxe 11

yachtDo you like watching how the rich and the famous spend their leisure time? I like doing this every now and then, although I know that it’s practically impossible for me to do what they do. Then again, it’s something to dream about!

Forbes just announced a partnership with the Travel Channel to bring what is perhaps the most luxurious travel series on TV these days. Dubbed Forbes Luxe 11, the TV series will air on November 7, 2009, Saturday at 10pm, ET. Each episode will be an hour long, with a total of 10 episodes.

Reuters gives us more details:

The shows will be broadcast in high definition, will feature content provided by Forbes in a list format and will offer a glimpse into the world of the privileged and wealthy. The first show will feature “Mega-Toys.” Later in the series, topics will include: Exclusive Hotels, Extravagant Meals, Extreme Excursions, Luxury Steals, Icy Hot Spots, First-Class Traveler, High Seas Style, and Billionaire-Owned hotels. Forbes editors and writers will appear throughout each special bringing their unique wealth and luxury coverage to the lifestyle category.

Forbes President of Television and Licensing, Miguel Forbes commented on the new series, “Our new partnership with the Travel Channel is a vital part of Forbes` continued expansion into television and luxury coverage.”

This show is set to make things a little more exciting for those of us who may never have the chance to live like the rich and the famous. So check your TV guides!
