Countries Most Dangerous to Drivers

January 14, 2013 By Louise

Driving a car takes practice and to be able to properly drive on the road takes a sound body and alert mind. This is to ensure the safety of yourself and your passengers so you can arrive at your destination unharmed.

But despite the traffic regulations in place, there are just some reckless drivers who don’t seem to care about the law. They do other things while driving, they drink alcohol even though they know they will be driving and they drive despite the fact that their body is tired or they’re sick and not feeling very well.

Every year, over five million accidents occur worldwide and more than a million get killed. These road accidents are also the leading cause of death among young people aged from 15 to 29.

Here’s an infographic that shows you some interesting statistics on the risks of driving and which countries are not very safe for drivers.
