It is not uncommon for many addicts in recovery to move away from their current living situations after treatment. Often, it just is not a good decision to go back to their hometown. Familiarity is a slippery slope, and usually causes addicts to relapse much quicker than a fresh start.

Though places like California and Florida are known to be great tourist destinations for the traveler on the go, if you’ve already hit those places up and are looking for a different type of trip, consider journeying to the US northeast. There are things to see and do there that fill out any traveler’s interest.
